The next generation iGX440 ‘intelligent’ engine uses an advanced Drive-By-Wire (DBW) control system, a feature that has never before been seen in general purpose engines.
The DBW control system allows one-touch connection between the power products switch and the engine, via a coupler connection for remote controlled engine speed adjustment.
The iGX440 features Honda’s unique electronic governor system which continuously monitors throttle opening and engine speed, to maintain constant engine speeds even under changing engine loads. |
